Kusama Akio

Kusama was a ubiquitous supporting actor who appeared in numerous films exclusively for Toho throughout the 1950s and 1960s. His career began during the war years, with early roles in films like Kato Hayabusa Squadron (1944). He continued acting into the 1970s and 1980s even after the studio's contract system had dissolved, primarily in TV Dramas.

He very rarely had speaking roles, his most prominent appearances being in the special effects films Rodan (1956) and Varan the Unbelievable (1958).
